September 2016 Fiber Project Update

Dunbarton Telephone is pleased to announce that we have contracted with subcontractor, Tel-Power Inc., to begin work to bring Fiber Optic Technology to the homes on Gorham Pond Rd., as well as to homes on the following streets:

·        Gorham Dr

·        Holiday Shore Dr

·        Gary Rd

·        Stephanie Rd

·        Karen Rd

This project will connect these homes to a fiber optical network, which will bring increased bandwidth and reliable, crystal clear phone lines.

Over the next few weeks and months, crews from Dunbarton Telephone and Tel-Power will be working in the Gorham Pond Rd neighborhood.  These crews will be working to put up new Fiber Optic cable from pole to pole on the streets, as well as running new cable from the streets to the homes.

May 2016 Fiber Project Update

Dunbarton Telephone continues to expand its fiber optical network to additional homes in Dunbarton.  We are still awaiting final approval for the necessary government financing needed to bring fiber to all homes in Dunbarton.

Since our last update, we have completed fiber installations to homes on the northern end of Mansion Rd., as well as to homes on the following streets:

·        Stinson Dr.

·        Samuel’s Court

·        William’s Court

·        Stark Lane

·        Caleb’s Way

In the near future, we will also be working to bring fiber optic service to homes on Stark Highway North (house #’s 1-85) and to homes on Barnard Hill Rd.
